I recieved news tonight that one of my friends has died - it is thought he took his own life but things are a bit hazy. I will not mention his name for the time being as one of the things he apparently requested was that he didnt want people to know - also there are other friends who should know who have not yet been contacted and it wouldnt be fair on them. Plus I dont know the facts - I am hoping that this is all somehow a hoax - I know that that is unlickely but I am hoping.
Sarah is sad and wishes she had been a better friend - that is all I have to say for now.

We left friday - we have only just got back 🙁
He is refusing to come in the house though the other two cats are in and purring like mad things!

Quick brief - this weekend saw one party and one perants anniversary - today saw Al in a potentially exciting meeting with Ammericans and megetting fed back on a shot story which I am very very happy about!
We have to get up early to have Jean jabbed in the morning - nine o'clock appointment - shivers at the thought of getting up early after a four days of not enough sleep.
Last night saw me and Al doning a uniform and taking on secret identitie, I in fact have two!
Alaric is Akela, I am known as Otta and Skip (though no ones actually called me Skip which I'm sort of greatful of as it sounds - well a bit silly). Yesturday was much fun with helpers not turning up on time - more children than last week turning up and it being a perants evening!
I couldnt find the story about what beavers really are so spent yesturday afternoon combing all the childrens animal books for pics, consulting wikipedia and the pice to la resistonce - Scottish Beavers! I saved the pictures to my laptop and showed the Beavers and told them about the re-introduction project. I was blagging most of it though - making games up off the cuff - fortunatly I had the soft play kit so that was easier than it could have been.
Akela was seen running backwards and forwards participating in games of various sorts, including a game of crab football - then he wondered last night why he was so tired and felt like he'd run a marathon!
Well I also discovered I know a lot of the rules of cricket as I invented Softy Cricket which cam as a huge shock! We also played Softy Volly Ball.
The Scouts insisted on playing musicial chairs which seeing as we had no sound systtem ment I found myself singing the hamster dance theme :/ I also found myself singing the little chicken song and getting them to do The Animal went to the fair in cannon - which was hilarious - imagine 10-12 yr olds trying not to be uncool whilst enjoying themselves doing 'lame' things.
Me and Al unfortunatly cant go to this but it looks fun 🙂

This morning I was awoken by Jean being lowered onto me being told to hug mummy!
She then proceeded to pick up my glasses from the side of the bed and try to poke my eyes out with them - obviously she knows where the glasses go!
Her baby sign is really coming on now - she says poo but unfortunatly she does this sign when breaking wind also. Shes developed some of her own signs as well like more done with both hands when she really wants something and is going to cry if you dont get it. She points to things with a huge degree of accuracy now aswel!
She has said Lion but only once - mind due it was the day she got a board book about a lion and we opened a birthday presant that was a singing lion!
To day she went and got a plum from the fruit bowl by herself and eat it - well she eat half of it and then shared it with me - she really likes feeding me and sharing her food - I wounder if this is becuase me and Al tend to share what ever we are eating with her?
I think I may have been over cleaning the cupboards and stuff in the kitchen as when I gave Jean a basin with a little bit of water in it to play with she started cleaning the cupboards with it!
She also does the cuttest little wiggle dance when music comes one or you start dancing - we have some cute picks and little video clips that we must upload for all you baby fans out there!
