Yes it is obviouslt for posting all the magnetic alphebet letters in - she spent ages crawling backwards and forwords to get the letters off the fridge and place them carefully in the potty.
She and the kittens have also been helping with the house work!
Jean spent yesturday giving me things she had fetched - unfortunatly one of these helpful items was the bag of nappy sacks - the sacks all fell out. The kittens then decided they would help tidy these up - the landing and bathroom floor were covered but then JEan helpfully picked them all up and gave them to me - with uber amounts of enthusiasm!
The kittens also decided that I wasnt being fast enough with my bead work and that the sharring elastic needed to be on the other side of the room!
Disclaimer - no babies or kittens were left on their own at any time with horrid bags that could suffocate or choke them!
Ok this post has been hanging around to long now - I will endevour to sort phots out later - this is going live like it or not!
Two weekends ago now lots of fun stuff happened which never got blogged about due to the 'jinx' stuff so I thought I'd best catch up on writting about it 🙂
First off there was Thursday, after the business stuff was done and sealed in London, we went to Charlee's perants house to meet up with her and Andy as me and Jean hadnt made it into zone one due to the heat! This was a very pleasant evening were I got given a wonderful purple top with sparkly beads and got to take photos of more cats! Plus I was impressed with the techno garden set up 🙂

Jean really loved it 🙂
Friday was the Front Wire Summer party in Guilford - so off me and Al went to that, it was another nice day with the added bonus of the trapoline!

I found some strange statues in the garden called Paul, Al and Seth!

I was very happy at this party surrounded by geeks doing sport!
Saturday saw us in Romford market buying stupid quantities of bombay mix! as we havent found anywhere that even comes near the fruit and nut stall. We also bought all the prizes for the village feast tomboler whilst we were at it. Then off into London again to meet up with people - a loo stop at Ikea which closes at midnight! resulted in me getting the alien rainbow knives, forks and spoons I saw at the beginning of the pregnancy and wanted to wean Jean with 🙂 I still cant imagine who would desperatly need furniture at 11 at night though?!
Sunday saw my Dad's thing at Rainham Methodist church were Jean made some friends! Followed by a flyby visit to more friends and a charity tea and cake session. (sorry this is probably boring to anyone whos not family). Then of course we picked Mini up and had a lovely everning with Earl and Rime - they have a great roof space where you can see loads of London with funky pigeons and pipes everywhere 🙂
Ok on the cooking front I have learnt two valuable leasons this week 1) when making a sponge don't use the electric whisk as the cake collapses and 2) don't try and soup Protien Chunk Gunk unless you like ministroni type soups and even then beware!
p.s. Al eat the soup!
Photos coming soon - honest!
Sorry baby lovers this is about the cats. Both the kittens and Mini have been bravely venturing outside but not too far! We were very chuffed that Mini came back 🙂 So we must be doing something right!
The kittens have only just started venturing to the other side of the drive, much prefering the 'jungle' as a place of saftey.
Hydrogen is definently the more adventurous and bold of the two - she was the first out of the box and always the first into a situation but then again she is also the first to dart back into cover. Today they met Betsy for the first time - this is Barbara's cat, again there was hissing - Betsey made a bee line straight for H and hissed, H stood her ground with minimial back arching until (to our suprise) Betsey ran away! So yet again our little kittens have faced of a bigger older cat and won! Unfortunatly they have started sniffing around the Stable which is most definatly Tim terratory - this could proove interesting!
Mini too has been venturing outside though she took longer to approach the open door, mainly it would appear , becuase she has to go through 'prime kitten terrotory' to get to the door - yes she does seem scared of the kittens! We just cant believe the way all the adult cats are behaving. Anyone would think the kittens were pit bulls or something!
Oops fogot to post - it was a few days ago now! (actually I then forgot to post it again so it was ages ago!)
I picked our first corrots ages ago but never posted about them! We had them in stir fry and they looked the way I remember carrots looking:)
Today I did some more weeding of the veggi plot, including culling some of the spinach which is almost taller than me! I picked our first parsnips 🙂
Once I started to prepear them I realised I was dealing with Monster Parsnips and that the Wiggly Pets would have to be involved!
The parsley is doing really well but the garlicks have bit the dust 🙁 I need to clear more of the plot for the globe artichokes wwhich are still sizzling in the propergator!
