Half Term Fun (by sarah)

Half term with a new baby and hyper active five year old - actually it was quiet alot of fun though I was soooo tired!

We did painting and crafts, home school and watched films, Jean couldn't really play outside much as I couldn't go with her so it restricts where she can play but she did go to rock mice again and this time she had her rock mice t-shirt 🙂 Rock Mice is a climbing club for 5+ and Jean loves it 🙂

Jean also decided she wanted to have her hair done in lots of different styles - it was all variations on plaits because that's all I felt upto tackling.

Uncle David and Aunty Michelles visit (by sarah)

Just before Mary was a month old my brother and his fiance came to visit 🙂 Mainly we hung around the house due to me not really being well enough to go out though I did manage one outing to the Beefeater at the Twelve Bells which was lovely 🙂

There was lots of film watching and chatting and Mary and Jean snuggles 🙂 Complete with new cuddly toys for all and some funky pens with stamps at one end which Jean has been using continually since the visit! (Though annoyingly sometimes on herself :/ )

Chinese New Year (by sarah)

Jean was really keen to do Chinese New Year so we made lots of lanterns and coughs got a take away and Jean put on her 'chinese' outfit and selected her chop sticks and away we went 🙂

More Cuteness (by sarah)

Since being home Mary has discovered the joys of sitting up - we thought it was a bit early for this but she loves sitting up (supported obviously) and looking around.

Jeany is still very much 'can I hold Mary now? I want Mary!' too the point of telling people to go away if they hold the baby too much :/

First Outing (by sarah)

On Wednesday Alaric walked up to the school to pick Jeany up - as Mary had just finished her feed he took her with him 🙂

As a result of this Jeany ended up taking her baby sister in for Show and Tell on Thursday morning - Daddy helped by carrying the baby - apparently there was lots of ooing and ahhing 🙂 Though one of the kids did ask if she was a girl :/
