Jean Walking :) (by )

At 11:02 this morning I saw Jean walk from the stairs to the setee!

This is the first definate walk either of us has seen though its lickely that she is walking at nursery.

Since then she walked from the kitchen to the front door as daddy was going to get a sack of coal from the little garage and she didnt want to be left behind! Unfortunatly this expadition was cut short by the fact it snowed last night and she had bare feet and mummy unlike daddy is strict about the whole cold feet thing!

BUT... Jean is walking!!!!1 Sarah bounces

The Mischevious Adventures of Jean (by )

Jean has been up to lots of things 🙂

For a start thanks to our visit to a wiggly of babies she now says shoosh and points to her shoes, or as shes taking them off! We where in the car and she started repeating it over and over agian, Al said, 'Jeans talking about her shoes then,' just as there was a sound of velcro and the thud of the shoe hitting the floor!

She also knows that shes not allowed to throw her food on the floor so what does she do? She looks at you grinning mischeviously whilst slowely moving her hand containing food out over the edge of th highchair. She also says no and shakes her head if you say its bed time and she doesnt want to go!

I'm afraid she is a bit fluffy blonde girly - she cries when you take her shoes off her for bed and if you take them of to change her she screams the house down unless shes allowed to hug them (or at least she does when its daddy changing her but then I cuaght him giving in and putting her to bed in her shoes!!!).

Having to do the eye treatment on both Alaric and Jean has prooven interesting to! I did Jeans treatment first which she really really hates then I made the mistake of putting her on the floor to play and moving straight on to do Daddys eyes. She saw what I was doing and went mental - she hit me and everything whilst crying and saying da da da repeatedly. She got really distressed - got up onto his lap and wouldnt let go of him - I was definatly bad perant - not only had I annoyed her by doing her eyes but here I was trying to do the same to Daddy! Al explained he was there volunteerally but she still looked at me darkly.

Still its sweet (especially if your Alaric and not Sarah).

She has also definatly got an imagination these days - she talks to her toys, she hugs her cuddlies lots and lots and has favourites - she also hates dolls with a vengence - even though she has now started calling them baba. She is either scared or angry at them or both - either way she throws them away violently if you put one in a confined space with her - otherwise she just cries and looks at them suspicously but only whislt being securely hugged by a trusted adult. Bizar reaction really :/

Appart from that she loves the wooden toys best it seems she is currently shunning everything other than wooden toys or cuddlies!?

Still I am quiet proud of her - she typed mum and sent it to a freind of mine on MSN - dont beleive me? Well I've copied and pasted it in!

See! ok ok so its in the middle but we know what she ment!

She also had Ella confussed with algabra!

Ella thought she was still talking to me for a good ten minuts - I was hoovering at the time and had stupidly left the laptop on the chair!

A Wiggle of Babies and the Chaos that Ensued! (by )

We went to my Aunts today to visit some of the younger memebers of my family!

Two of my cousins had babies (well thier girlies did anyway!) around the same time as Jean was born - about 6 weeks either side. Its so cute watching the three of them together!

Christmas Eve in the Old Bakery (by )

We finally got round to decorating but called it tradition!

DecorationsMe Help!

Jean loved 'helping' with putting up the decs!

We have eaten cheese and cracker and a few mince pies - wrapped all those presants we had forgotten to wrap - missed the village festivaties as felt too ill. Jean is loving it so far. I di consider cancerlling Christmas altogether after I trod on a bualble destroying it and then in the process of picking the others up crushed a nice little wooden one and then Al droped a maglite onto my christmas mug and then I droped a bell on the cats milk dish - ablittorating it! Then my tacky christmas clock appeared to be broken meaning the little snowmen and reindeers didnt go round in a circle whilst playing christmas carols but it was just on the wronge setting so Christmas was back on 😉

Jean is really into it at the mo - She even sprinkeled the special magic reindeer food her grandmother sent.

Magic food

Unfortunatly her sprinking it was very rapid and so I missed the exact moment with the camera!

Al n JeanSprinklesIts mine not the Reindeers!

The thing is though - it appears to really work!

Reindeer

Reindeer stake anyone?

Jean has also been really busy at nursery making things, for a while now she has been coming home with bits of glitter still attached or paint under the nails - this is becuase she has been a very busy young lady - I have posted about the things she made on the Salaric Craft Blog - so go there!

Bobble working things out! (by )

Jean is working things out! like if she has been changed and is cold she inistantly hands us her clothes! Or feeling her hair then feeling yours!

Today when laid down to be changed she pointed at each item of clothing in order so trousers first then top, then nappy as Al proceeded, grinning when we said thats right!

Her true colours are also showing - today she sperned her keyboard and instead proceeded to discover the joys of coal much to my initial annoyance! She cried when I took the piece of coal off of her! She has the makings of a true geologist 🙂
