Almost Clapping and Definatly Giggling! (by sarah)

Jean is now ticklish!

Its so much fun - all you have to do is to run your finger along her neckline and you get giggling and scretches of joy 🙂 She still has a cough but the illness seems to have passed, once again she is the smiling fun baby who has waitresses cooing over her and trying to teach her to clap even though they are now closed and should be chucking us out!

No More Crutches!!!! :) :) :) (by sarah)

I have experimented and have recently managed to go round the supermarkets and things without the crutches and this week I've even walked to places in the village with Al unaided! 🙂 This has given me a senses of self and independence again - something I have sorely missed! I have taken all the supports of the loo and bed and shower etc... now all I need todo is find the number for social services so they can come and take it all away - that will a) stop me wanting to smash it all into little peices everytime I see the things (irrational I know) and b) give us more room and make the place look tidier and c) someone else who really needs them can have them and order and balance will once again be restored to the universe! 🙂 Pilates starts again next week so hopefully with more mobility and a gentle excersice ragime I will get fit and loss the pregnancy weight which is still lurking!

Flo and Matthew’s Visit (by sarah)

Flo and MAtthew visited us this weekend, this was great as I hadnt seen Flo since her and Matthews wedding and they hadnt seen the baby yet!!!

They bough a cool white cabinet thing for me to keep craft stuff in 🙂 and a little bath duck including a little duckling that sits on its back - Jean adores them and gave them a good ol' gumming (the ducks not Flo and Matthew!).

I took this oppurtunity to give them part of their wedding presant! Just a bit late and wrapped in typical Sarah style - ie carrier bags feactured heavily!

As always we forgot to get them to sign the visitors book - please guys when you visit try to remember for me 🙁 Oh well theres always next time 🙂

The Weekend in MK (by sarah)

On Saturday we went to Milton Keynes to Becca and Olly's flate warming/come beccas birthday party!

We got lost right at the end becuase there was a big gap in the instructions - it turns out though that stupid word hadnt worked and there was a map with the route marked on! Oh well and there was us thinking that becca was just really bad at instructions!

It was a great party - Becca had made loads of food which was all yummy but I think her and Olly are evil as they have a chocolate fountain and next to it was a huge box of marshmellows - mew!!!! How are you supposed to resist!

There flate is really nice and I can see Becca desinging some cool decor for the place 🙂

i spent most of the party passing Jean round to be cooed at and to strick fear into my friend Keith who seems to be scared of under fours cos they cant put their hands on their heads! Oh well he ended up with our spare bedding which me being me was Care Bears! Jean loved the party and finally fell asleep - her and Al endevoured to take up the whole bedroom so there was no room for me!

Oh well - I blathered at Astrophysisicsts and read. When all the boys had become light weights and flaked me and becca discovered the joys of eating erm I mean cleaning the chocolate fountain.

Becca made the silly mistake of showing Jean her Piglet cusion - that was it Jean had a great time - the cusion however definatly needs cleaning due to a)baby drool, b)baby puke and c)snotty baby with a cold!

(I know this blog isnt in order now cos I'm a muppet and forget to post so I'm trying to make up for that!)

All I want for Christmass is me 2 front teeth! (by sarah)

They are here at last!

Little baby has cut her top two front teeth, as one of our chairs found out!

She'll be able to bite things properlly now!
