I found the camera in the end - after four odd days searching - I must be going mad 🙁
It turned out to be in the pocket of a fleece I dont remember wearing at the bottom of the washing pile that I swear I hadnt touched for two weeks.
Our cloaks were even on top of it - must be fairies or practical jokers or my mind going - somehting like that 🙁
Anyway I am not happy as now the house is a complete mess again as I was so desperate that I pulled everything out of cupboards looking for the damn thing!
There was a Lunar eclipse tonight - we would have missed it if Barabara hadnt have knocked!
It was a bit erry with the clouds fluttering in front of it. Still we had the cats zooming about us so all was well 🙂
Well there was supposed to be nice posts about clearing reeds from the stream and Jeans first night at her little bluw table eating etc... but the camera has vanished 🙁 Last I saw it was Monday night when I took some photos of a shrew.
I'm really not happy I can not think where the hell it could be and am slowely having to face the realisation that perhapse its been snaffled by someone :'(
This is more than annoying as most of my projects rely on me having access to a digital camera :'(
I still live in hope that perhapse Jean's got hold of it and I'll find it in some random place whilst cleaning - in the mean time I do have several 1000 photos to go through and sort.
Sigh.
Thursday night I went out - yes thats right out - on my own no Jean no Al. Just me to meet an old uni friend at the Royal William. This was basically the first time I've done this since Jean was born - so 8:30 saw me climbing the hill in the dark - a tad too scary for me as I am a wuse.
Still I made it and suprised the bar staff who insisted I was going caving! as I was wearing a head torch and had a maglite - a big purple one of course. I was a bit strange as it was sort of like first year of uni all over but with just a tad more depression. I t was a good night - I hadnt realised how much I miss going out really - especially here as there is no one our age about.
The young people are all pre-uni and the next youngest lot are about ten years older than us though they are the other perants in the village.
I think I am fortunate to find an old friend who lives close by!
Thanks to the rain we managed to make it to the reception of my friends wedding. Which was in Hatfield!
I think its the only time I been glade to see snow melt! It was great 🙂
Charlotte wore a buetiful 'fish tail' dress and becuase it is Febuary she had a lovely little white fur wrap! She looked very Fairy Princess 🙂
We made it before the first dance too, which was amazing as we had got lost for about an hour once we came off of the motor way! Well it was probably less time than that but I was bursting for a wee and we had to change in the back of the van etc....
Even though it was a very late night for Jeany-bo she really loved it! Though I did have to feed her most of the fruit for the chocolate fountain!
Sorry it was too pretty not to photograph!
Ecellent - pure genius!
It was a bit too hot inside though, we found so we went exploring outside and found there was Ducks and Fire!
And of course I could not help myself - there were geeks presant so I did what I always do and make them pose!
It was really lovely with fireworks going off to Jeruselum and cheesy music to suit any conorser 🙂
We had a great time- I was sad when we left at Midnight as it would have been fun to stay longer but we had a 3 to 4 hr drive to get home. And Jean was inevitably getting a bit grizzly. Of course me being me I forgot the wedding presants so still have to sort that out at some point!
