It took three hours of painting time but obviously I had to wait for layers to dry - in places there are four layers but it is painted in acrylics and they aren't thick layers of paint so I got it done in the time Jean was at school.

Also I am a 'fast' painter/drawer so if you see this type of thing done by someone else it will have taken longer - at the same time I struggle if I am interupted and may not finish a piece if I am
