They say bad things come in threes - well here's todays three:
Number one - we where moving the fridge freezer in from the little garage and due to dad accidently ending up taking all the load there is now a little set of half moon scuff marks where the bracket on the bottom of the appliance cut into the lino 🙁 My poor new floor :'( Poor dad was mortified and thought he'd ruined my entire life - I am currently trying to work out if I can fix this disastor.

Number Two - once the fridge freezer was in place we begain to assemble the Ladder racks unit that we had there pre-flood - it has little adjustible feet - bad was trying to get the thing to stand level when my mum phoned with some suggestions on what to do with the lino - Dad accidently snaped the foot off of the ladder racks - but as loads of rust poured out of the thing this was hardly suprising. To say he was unhappy at this point would be putting it lightly.

Number three - in going to to see how dad was as he'd slunk off to make a replacement foot out of some off cuts of wood - obviously not adjustible, I managed to step on a thin metal tac which went right through the sole of my trainer and into the sole of my foot when the next second I trod on a small stone that forced it up into the rubber sole making it impossible to remove. Foot hurting and a pair of shoes rendured useless - you could say we are having a good day here today.

Today in the Snell-Pym nursery a.k.a Jeans bedroom Jean asked Mummy for a film so Mummy asked furfur if he could bring some films with him when he came to see us. He bought lots of fun DVD's with him including Life on Earth and other interesting things.
Jean chose a DVD and called it the people film it was Balamory and after five minutes of the first episode Mummy decided she wanted to mass murder the entire cast and blow up the pretty coloured houses. After Ten minutes Mummy started to irrasistably hum the theme tune. By the end of the first viewing Mummy was considering torture was - mayby - in this case justified.
Jean asked mummy to play it again and as she is still quiet sick Mummy agreed - Jean then watch it on loop for the entire afternoon! Mummy decided that a placated Jean was probably worth the mind rot the tune and simpicity of the programme wrought upon adults and decided that mass murdering the crew wasn't such a good idea. She did however decide that Balamory was prehapse the DVD she'd hide at the bottom of the stack - But Jean loved it so much that Mummy didn't have the heart to do it.
Balamory good for two year olds - suicide inducing in adults - this is my conclusion - I'll say this for them though - they really do cater well for their target audience and this is why Sarah is not a teatcher especially of the under tens! shudders
On the plus side I was clapping the rhythems each time the theme tune played and on about the seventh time I gave up as Jean wasn't clapping with me - But becuase I wasn't clapping it she did! And she got it right!
I think one episode at a time would be tollerable - sigh.
Just come back from the Dr and Jean definatly has chicken pox but badly and she was immunized against it which is a good thing as other wise it would have been a lot worse. Becuase of the amount of spots extra that she has she should not get it again at all apparently it was becuase the other cases where mild that she's been getting it multiple times.
The drs (the first one went to get a collegue to check stuff out becuase she was a bit concerned) said the most important thing was keeping nials short I pointed out I'd cut them short as soon as we got her home from the nursery which for some reason they seemed impressed with when I thought it was just the sensible thing to do. They also said that I could bathe her in a tepid bath containing bicarbanate of soda to help sooth her skin. Which goes against what nhs directs website said but hey maybe its only for when you have lots of spots!
I have to watch out for Jean experiencing any ear ache and keep an eye on her breathing but was assured that complications are rare (though they said that if we hadn't immunised her she would have had complications with how bad this lot is).
Within herself she seems alot more perky today though we are having a bit of an issue with her pulling her scabs off to show people :/
I am sick again - headache coming up from the gland at the back of the ears, sore throat, joint pain and sort of a slicing pain along my muscles - it feels like the flu without the deep bone ache and funnily enough through my ears and throat are affected my nose is for once perfectly clear. I just feel rubbish I can't really say more. Glands are painful and my breathings a bit laboured and odd - like I'm in a steam room or something that sort of damp preassure 🙁
On the plus side my heat rash has dramatically subsided so no more nasty red blisters 🙂 and the itching sores on my legs are gone. I think my immune system just couldnt cope with looking after a Jean whos sick and having very little sleep.
Tomorrow I take Jean to the drs - I feel rough and am not entirely sure how I am going to be able to do this.
I keep getting a strange nusea and going right off of food too which doesn't help as I'm starting to feel week.
The really frustrating thing is though that I really want to sort the house out and feel that every time I turn around a new obstical has been placed in the way 🙁
Tuesaday saw numero-uno of my friend Clares Birthday celebrations and so we headed off to South end (of all places) to see Derren Brown. We saw him in London about two years ago when I was still on the crutches - I got hit by a monky that time so Clare got to go up on stage and win £50 off of him which was fantasmigorical as you can imagine.
This time none of us made it onto the stage but the show was fantastic! What with gorrilaz and a truelly spectacular Oricle show that had me wowing - he does he do it? Clare almost took out half the threater with her egerness to put a question in his pot! We really enjoyed the show 🙂
However the pre-show meal was a bit of a disastor, they just took too long to bring it out and got the order wronge and in one case brought out something that was inedible ie Lianes cake could smash plates! They are the resturant in the theatre so you'd have thought they would have been better but no we had to leave half our desserts and had no coffee (which was all part of the set meal) and we only just got in for the beginning of the show.
Also poor Al had to do a bit of a marathon to get to us for the meal which he should have been late for but becuase of how they where being we had bearly ordered! Still us girls had a nice wonder around the place and as me and Lianne are obessed with taking photos and neither of us had a camera Clares new camera was getting a good old try out. I'm hoping to see them soon so I can post them up on here 🙂
Tonight sees round two of the celebrations - Karyoky mucho mucho fun 🙂
