You are n9ot going to believe me :/
I fell in a whole - I got stuck in said whole and had to be puled out, I cut my hands on a digger bucket and felt very very stupid.

We are having flood defenses put in and the trench had grown abit since I last looked at it so at the weekend I managed to (in the dark) walk straight into it and slide down down, over the frozen earth and became wedged between the side of the whole and the digger bucket with my legs uselessley waggling and no way to bend my kness to get a perchase to climb out.
I'm afraid I screamed as I fell in and then finiding I was actually stuck begain to yell at which point Dad and Alaric came running closely followed by a little Jeany bow who got most upset seeing me stuck in the whole.
I for some stupid once out became so shaky you'd have thought that I had been doused in ice cold water (well in fact I was just above the ice cold water as my breasts wouldnt let me fall all the way through).
Ontop of that we missed the Grift Service with the scouts so I have no idea what happened to my scouts who went - weather they found their seats ok and stuff :/
I am quiet bruised and have an infected cut on my hand from it all, my pelvis also desided that the knock was enough to make it start clicking again - sigh.
Yes - Good news!!!!
Firstly Hydrogen is in the clear - stitches removed, antibiotics finished and running about outside. The vetinary nurse told Al we had looked after her really well and that the wound had healed fantastically - thank goodness all that ick removal was good for something 🙂
Secondly the insurance peeps phoned me today on my mobile and said that I could fill in the missing form over the phone! Which I did and so the insurance money for the furniture is wending its way to us as we speak 🙂
thirdly mums wound has actually started to heal now that the cancer nurses have told her to leave the dressing off of it etc... This means that her radiotherapy will actually be able to start 🙂
Forthly we are coming down to London for Christmas and we're hoping to meet up with lots of peeps we havent seen for what seems like several life times 🙂
I'm afriad I have not blogged for a while now this was mainly due to the fact that I just couldnt face typing yet more depressing news. The builders who I had been waiting for didnt turn up and after the normal five different people and no one knowing who I am game I finially got through to the actual builders. 'Ah yes we've been trying to contact you, the insurance company says its got to go back to the assessors and that we cant start work yet. Sorry luv' Mew! Mew! Mew!
So we are back to the old waiting game and getting back into the house stretches further away than ever before.
The to our insurence payout for the contence, they say we have to fill in some magical form they sent us the week of the flood and that without it we can not get our money - I can not find the form - sigh.
Hydrogen cost me another £20 in antibiotics becuase the poor little things wound was still oozing sticky gunk which wasn't good, I have to pick the stuff off of her everyday and wash her and make sure that the scabs over where her drain came out is scratched off and the wound kept open to drain. (Hope that made scense to someone).
Mum still has a gaping wound and so radiotherapy starts after christmas when hopefully it will have at least started to heal. Once on radiotherapy it has been advised that we dont go and see her as Jean will give her colds and stuff.
Sigh. Sorry I know this is all abit moany and stuff and I hope to have some cheerful stuff for you soon. But for now GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Mum had to go to A&E last night as her wound is now just bleeding all the time and is refusing to heal up. It has now been weeks and weeks since her operation and becuase of the infection in the sight her radiotherapy has been post poned. They have also decided not to give her chemo as it would probably kill her due to complications and stuff.
Instead they are putting her on some tablets that will cause hair thinning but not like chemo.
Hydrogen went to the vets yesturday and they decided not to take the drain out yet as she's still oozing puss and stuff, I'm still ramming antibiotics into her protesting jaw (which as she is a cat is full of needle sharpe teeth). They've shown me how to clean her wound and I bough another collar so that I can wash one and put a clean freash one on her after cleaning the wound. I take her back to the vets tomorrow.
Here is a picture of Hydrogen just before she went off to the vet this morning - some of the blood and puss is just visible.

It turned out not to be a bit or scratch - instead she had a piece of twig lodged in the side of her neck that must have been there for ages and took some removing, in hind sight Albert (Barbaras gardener was commenting on the fact that she didnt like the side of her head chuckeled and she had kept mewing at us but we had thought she was just looking to be stroked.). Saddly if she'd been any of the other cats we would have noticed before it got to that state becuase they all sit on laps but Hydrogen is too energetic and kittenish still for that. We thought she was being sad because she hasnt really grown up and her sisters stops playing with her.
She is also apt at climbing trees especially the black thorn looking for birds - poor thing it must have been really apinful 🙁
Due to our normal comedy of errors we fialed to get the cat box that I had organised and so had a hug cardborard box in which to try and bring her home in - this didnt work and I ended up hugging her many as she was endanger of hurting herself. She's wearing one of those funny collars and has what appears to be a drinking straw stuck into her (for fluid drainage) but the poor thing couldnt eat with it on as its longer than her head so Al had to initially hold her plate of food up for her (the same went for the water and boy was she hungry when we got her home).

This obviously wasn't a very practical solution as Al couldnt stay there all night with her so we jury rigged something out of our spice rack thing and a couple of F-clamps, it has worked suprisingly well!

Tomorrow the antibiotics start which means we have to somehow feed her pills - hmmm I can see that being loads of fun :/
